Fiting a mixer shower

I am having a new mixer shower fitted, do I need to have a pump fitted?
My header tank is in loft above the bathroom and hot water cylinder is in the bathroom in a cupboard.

If you are fitting a thermostatic shower fed from a hot water cylinder for the hot supply & a tank fed cold supply you will be o.k. Both being gravity fed will equalise the pressure at the shower, if you have another setup you better explain further.
