Hi I am about to order a bathroom suite which comes with a close coupled toilet. My waste pipe for the toilet comes out of the floor. The picture for the toilet shows the waste connection through the wall. Unfortunately there are no measurements anywhere for me to know if I can connect the toilet to the floor waste via an elbow joint.

Are these distances "standard" so I can connect to either a wall or floor outlet or do I need to get the measurements first.
Thanks

It will have to be quite close to the wall as it comes through the floor or it will probably hit the WC pan.

You often have to box out the wall when fitting a close coupled toilet if you have a soil comming through the floor
