I need a gas hob fitted to an existing bayonet fitting, is it true that the fitting now reqiures a gas service valve?
Can a hob be fitted using a bayonet fitting?

Read the instructions, whilst it's true the bayonet fitting satisfies isolation requirements, unless you have a pressure test point on the hob one will have to be added, usually to the pipework at the isolation point.

You'll also need to register the installation with your local Building Control Dept for it to meet Building Regs.

In MOST cases you CANNOT use a flexy hose on a hob, even if one was used before. See hob instrs.

New one on me. Is that a new reg MM? Can usually measure working pressure at a burner.
