Fitting a P10 velux

I am about to fit 2 P10's and have just finished 3 small velux's. They were nice and easy to fit.

Has anyone fitted these P10's on their own ? It's getting the window into the frame that is tricky. I think i need to get a mate in to help with this bit really.

they are 1.6m x 0.94m

Its very hard as trying to locate the clip/ slide things whilst balancing the window is hard.

Small sizes are ok. Done them several times on my own.

But 1.6 x 0.94 you'll struggle.

i've fitted a U04 before (134x98) and would not have been able to do it without help.

yep, i have someone now. not a chance i could do it on my own

You can get the frame in on your own. That's the time consuming fiddly bit, and it's not heavy.

Just get your friend around when you're ready to lift the glass in.

Although you may appreciate a hand in lifting the glass out of the frame first of all before fitting. But with care this you could probably do on your own.
