Fitting a Whitenight vented tumble dryer

In all this nobody has pointed out the difference between tungsten carbide core bits and diamond ones. If you use diamond, you don't get any break-out on the outside of the brick, just a clean-edged hole..

Am i right in thinking this is an electric tumble dryer & not a gas one

Yes the dryer is electric - I've still not got round to doing this yet as i couldn't seem to get hold of a 110V female plug to 240V - that plugs into the transformer (powers it up) I went to B&Q and they only had the female 110v plugs not made up. Anyway that's going off topic a little so i won't rant on about that mission trying to find one.
I will be having ago tonight hopefully and start drilling from the inside and as advised from you guys finish off on the outside. I've bought a Vent kit from B&Q it comes with everything including a telescopic white plastic tube which is 4" this fits into the hole. Hope i have enough room to get this through the hole as the diamond drill head is 4" diametre too.
