We're replacing a concrete floor at the moment, the final make up will be (top to bottom) 75mm screed inc UFH pipes, 100mm celotex, concrete, DPM, sand and hardcore. The concrete has been poured and set and I'm now laying the celotex before getting someone in to screed it.
Typically with this house nothing is straight or square and its not going as easily as planned! The celotex sheets are a little curvy to varying degrees so I'm cutting them into smaller pieces to get them to lie flat. however they do still have a bit of movement when you walk over them (they creak a bit too). Once the screed is on will this be ok? I can imagine once theres some weight on the celotex they'll stop moving, or is there a risk the screed may crack?
