hi just picked up some near new french doors for nothing and want to put them where my sliding patio door is, question is how do i go about fitting them as my patio doors are wider than the french doors? the patio doors measure 82 inches high and 62 inches wide and the french doors are 80 inch high and 51 inches wide so how do i go about fitting them? do i need to add bricks to the existing wall?

why diy disaster? i fitted a upvc front door last week with no problems had to take out old wooden door and frame and fit upvc frame and had no problems so y a disaster?
