Hi. Not sure how to wire these up correctly. Any advice would be appreciated. Current set up involves armoured cable from house to garage volex protector fuse box. From there its onto the mains supply to the office and that's set up fine. A second fuse feeds the lighting circuit currently not connected. I have 5 x GU10 max 50W lights mounted to the roof of the office around the perimeter. I also have an architrave switch. My current thoughts are to run the power to the switch and then back to the first light and onto each light thereafter. However not sure hence help please. Also to note the lights are attached to the roof which is metal?????????

I'm not clear what you're concerned about; is it:

1. How to mount the light fittings;
2. How to wire them up;
3. Whether or not the components you already have will work safely.

The method you have in mind is:

feed from CU (Volex :cry: )
to switch
then on to lights.

This will work, if u wire it properly but you will have a problem with the architrave switch. You will need to bring the neutral in to the box of the switch and then out again to the lights. Ther is no room to put a terminal block in an architrave switch back box.

I suggest you run a T&E wire from the switch to the CU.
Do the commections there and run another length of T&E to your first light.
