Hi,

I'm looking at fitting a Mira Excel external valve shower into my bathroom.
The plan is to cut into the wall where the shower pipes will be going & then plaster / tile over the top.
Ideally I would like to fit, snap fit connectors, so I was wondering if such a connector exists. The shower details are here - http://www.mirashowers.com/onlineca...?item=117416&prod_num=Excel&cat=Mixer+Showers

Any help would be apprechiated.
Cheers,
Ian

OK so that was a pretty silly question as I just need to connect a copper pipe into the back & use the compression joint which is included with the shower.
So that leads onto my next question ....

I see you can get compression elbow joints & push fits such as the following:

http://www.screwfix.com/prods/65863/Plumbing/Copper-Push-Fit/Conex-Cuprofit-Elbow-15mm

Which of the above are better? I'm especially interested as this will be behind tiling / plater & I wan't to reduce the chance of a bad connection.

Cheers,
Ian

Unless your going to allow access then really you wana solder it.
