Hi all,

My previous question of 1/2 refers - I have a Baxi Solo PFL System 60 and now know the Expansion Vessel has failed, but is not leaking (it's just full of water) Can anyone advise how and where I should fit an external EV and also what size it should be adn where to get one from? The system is running on 22 and 15 mm pipework and has 12 rads + hot cyl. Thanks, Swiny.

Usually a 12 litre will be quite adequate.

Possibly an 8 li would also be OK but that depends on the system volume. A larger one does not matter.

It should be connected to the return pipe but can be anywhere on the system.
