fitting new toilet waste to existing plastic soil pipe

Hi everyone
Am about to fit an upstairs toilet (already have a downstairs one that is connected to an external plastic soil pipe)Could you please tell me the best way to connect my new toilet to the soil pipe both toilets are on the same wall. Thanks :rolleyes:

Er, same as downstairs but with longer pipe..!
Consider adding an air admittance valve (do a search) or better, carry pipe on up to make a vent.
 
Consider reading this section of "Approved Document H", here. It's fairly easy reading and makes it quite clear what is, and isn't allowed with soil stacks. Because soil stacks = building regs.

Thanks for the replies folks, I was wondering more about the types of connection to the soil pipe and what was the easiest method. Any suggestions welcome.
