Currently having bathroom remodeled and have hit a bit of a snag, wouldn't mind some second opinions.

I wanted to fit a concealed mixer shower on one of the internal walls - when I got the quote the bathroom fitters said this should be okay.

It's now transpired that the wall is a 60mm breezeblock wall, which is too shallow for the mixer shower I've bought (valve needs 75mm deep and to be fixed to the wall).

So I located an alternative shower, a riser set with an exposed valve. But they guys are saying that this won't fit on the wall either because of the pipe elbow required.

Any thoughts? Any other options? At the moment I have no idea really what to do - it messes up the whole bathroom plan if we can't get this shower onto the wall.

Thanks in advance.

Another option is to fit an Aqualisa digital shower where the riser is also the supply and fits into the ceiling.

That 60mm block is dreadful stuff to work with - crumbles very easily and is a right b*gger to chase.

I'd second the Aqualisa solution

Or hang a picture on the other side of the wall

I have seen it done.
