fitting trv's

I have got a couple of rads valves that need replacing so i thought i would replace them with trv's. Is fitting trv's the same as fitting a standard rad valve

I have fitted a few standard rad valves before but never any trv's, is there anything difference in the fitting method

Just make sure their bi directional and you don't have to set the direction on em.....most don't but some cheapies do. If you get those you will need to note which pipes are flow and which are return.....turn heating on from cold and feel which piope gets hot first....thats flow.....good luck
