Hi, I brought a pair of used patio doors which are the right size for the window that I want to replace in the back of my home but unfortunately too big to go through my front door! My back garden is blocked by a garage and they wont go through that either (I live in a mid-terrace). If I disassemble the frame will it go back together ok? I have no idea about this sort of stuff, any help appreciated :)

Well if they are upvc with welded corNers you are stuffed, unless a neighbour will let you over the fences, if it's wood probaly be able to dismantle the frame

Hmmm it is UPVC, there is a step/plinth on the bottom, which if removed will probably allow the doors to fit through my front door. Do you know if that would go back on ok if removed? My neighbour has a wooden fence above their wall which the doors would smash to bits so unfortunately thats not an option either :-(. My only other option is to somehow bring them over the garage but even with the glass out they weigh a tun!

It sounds like the cill is still attached, if that is thje case there should be some screws screwd from either under the cill into the door frame or the other way around. unscrew them and the cill should come off
