fitting wooden facia at side of flat roof

i have a flat roof at the front of the house which is like an outhouse which houses the boiler and a few garden tools etc,but at the side the facia is wood and has rotted and needs replacing,i am not sure how to replace it without damaging the roof felt as it is on a corner where the drip is,any ideas on how to fit a replacement peice it is 10 inches by six inches
it looks like somone had to fit a peice before i moved in only about two years ago.can someone tell me how to replace it bit by bit or put me onto website which tells you,any input would be great,thanks,jointy
