Hi,
50+ old house first floor bed show cracks in the ceiling (see also picture attached).
I plan to remove the woodchip paper, skim and paint and wish to avoid that the cracks coming back.
The ceiling joist are not loaded by any weight, just loft insulation, but wondering whether I could prevent movements simply by screwing some floorboards on top of the joists where the crack is (currently it's all covered with 150mm rockwool)?
Thanks in advance for any feedback.
