Hi,

I have a new tap that has 1/2" tails and was wondering if I can connect this to a 15mm isolation valve?

Cheers,
Dave

You can get flexi tails with built in isolators or fit them to copper pipe. If you have flexible hoses with swivel nuts, toolstation do a flat faced male straight isolation valve.

Blup

Take a flat file and file the end of the ISO valve so it creates a flat face and avoids the sharp edge cutting into the seal. They're brass so quite soft and file down quite easily. Just make sure they're filed flat so the seal sits on it properly, run the valve back and forth, flat on the file rather than filing the top, if you see what I mean
