tap fitting problems

Hi

I've got a new Franke tap and almost finished fitting it. However, the Flexi hose it comes with does not fit into the already installed compression fitting. What is the best solution?

The flexi hose has this type of connection...

Whilst the compression fitting is a 15mm isolating valve...

Screw this onto your flexi with ptf tape or a fibre washer inside then a short piece of tube between this and iso valve.

You could put a 1/2" female to 15mm straight compression coupler on the end of your flexible connectors with ptfe tape or washer and then a short piece of 15mm pipe. That'll fit into your isolation valves. Minimal cost and nothing wasted.
