I have a 1/2 x 15mm flexi tap connector and the tap connector end is fitting straight onto the top of a 15mm isolation valve .

Then I have a 3/4 x 15mm flexi tap connector but the tap connector end will not fit onto the top of a 22mm isolation valve.

Why ?

Because 3/4" and 22 mm are different sizes!

Not a good idea to put a flexible connector directly onto an isolation valve - the flange on the iso valve is sharp enough that it can damage the rubber/fibre washer in the connector.

1/2" BSP (ID) - imperial - is pretty close to 15mm (OD) so it'll fit the ISO end.

3/4" BSP (ID) - imperial - is smaller than the 22mm (OD) the point where it won't fit.

If you intend to use the ISO to take a rubber seal washer then file the olive flange on the valve flat with a flat file, it's soft brass so it files quite easily, that way it doesn't cut into the washer.
