Hello all. I'm about to mount some Ikea shelves to the wall. These ones to be precise! http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/S59891235/[/url]
However, I haven't a clue of what fixings I should use. The wall is dry-lined with 1cm thick plasterboard, but the void between the brick and the plasterboard is 5cm wide! All answers would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I'd use long screws back into the brickwork and spacers if you're looking to put any weight on the shelves.

Thank you. Do you know how far a screw needs to go into the brickwork for stability? I was thinking 100mm should do it, but I'm having trouble finding that length with a shank narrow enough for my brackets. Also, what are spacers? I'm pretty clueless, I don't do much DIY!
