We have a lean to conservatory with a glass roof. The MD has decided that she needs an overhead light [as opposed to a wall mounted light] to better illuminate the table when she plays mahjong with her friends.
I have sourced a lightweight 6' LED batten which appears to be ideal, spanning as it does, three of the glazing bars.
The crux of the problem is can I actually drill and place one short screw [to hold a clip on mount] into the centre of each of the three bars. I am not sure [read I have no idea] of the internal construction and am concerned it may cause other problems.
