Wasn't sure if this was one for the roofing forum or the carpentry but went with this.
I am installing a warm deck roof. OSB (18mm), DPM, PIR (130mm), OSB (18mm), Finish. Comments about this type of construction are for a separate thread but can someone help me with fixings.
I assume the lower OSB is fixed to the joists/firings, the insulation is fixed to the OSB, and the top layer of OSB is fixed through it all. Is that correct?
If the above is correct could you suggest a fixing for each element. Screwfix and toolstation seem to have huge variety.
Would the below be suitable and if so what spacings / how many per sheet would you recommend.
1 - OSB to joist
2 - PIR to joist with these
3 - Top OSB to joist
