My acres of external walls are completely covered in flaking paint on top of the roughcast render. Where it had blown is being repaired soon and then I plan to repaint the whole house. I have tried removing the flaking paint with a decent jet washer, but its even slower going than me with a wire brush, so Ive given up with the jet washer. To do the house like this, by hand, will take months. Is there a product i can paint on? I wonder, which might make the flaking paint sort of stick back on the render, which i could then paint over (which in itself will be a huge undertaking). Im sooo praying there is a miracle product out there that i havent spotted. Any ideas other than persevering with the wire brush would be much appreciated.
