Dear All,

My expansion vessel is dead and needs replacing - think the prv is fine but has been discharging at high pressure (because of expansion vessel).

Q1. As PRV has been discharging should I just replace expansion vessel or expansion vessel and PRV?

Currently have a CUBEX 8l expansion vessel in place and its hard to come by - can get a Flamco 8l pack with everything for 120 or alecnic for under 100.

Q2. Is there a preferred expansion vessel make amongst the experienced of you.

why do you think it's dead, have you tried to recharge it with a foot pump ?, do you have water discharging from the valve when you press the pin down ?
