On my Baxi Combi boiler the flame failure light fails and is constantly flashing a red light! I have tried resetting this and still fails! Checked the pressure gauge, and turned the boiler off at the mains also.

Total nightmare can't guarantee we will get hot water or not! The central heating however seems to be fine though and doesn't fail out.

What could this be any ideas?

The plumbers I have had round so far don't know what it is and suggest I try and get an Engineer but would like to avoid the cost of that!

Then I would think you are enjoying cold showers/baths.

Get someone who looks honest, does a conciensous job is affiliated with all the correct groups, has a reputation to guard.

Then they could charge you for knowledge whilst you do the repair
