Hi,
I just moved to a new flat which has an intercom next to the flat front door which allows video/voice and to open the flat block main gate.
Whilst we have adjusted the volume to the maximum it is not loud enough and we keep missing deliveries. :(

Is there anything I could do? Considering this is a rented property in a condo I can't replace the intercom... I looked around the web for sound replicators or sound notifiers....and all the things I found were to change the doorbell.

Any tips from anyone?
Thanks,
Helder

Some intercoms have an extension sounder but would need make and model to advise further

The installed intercom is BPT Agata with colour video.

The installed intercom is BPT Agata with colour video. It has only two wires connected on the back.

Speak to bpt / came , can't see any output on the agata monitor pcb .... to be honest I've always found the bpt intercoms to have a loud ring sound !

SW3 on the board should be linked for maximum ring. It looks like a little header connector

NB note those handsets have to be paired with the entry panel by an engineer, you can't just swap them.

The older YC-300 had terminals for an additional 45 ohm speaker to provide a louder call volume, the Agata series don't.

There is no switch/relay output you can use to trigger an additiona sounder. The only thing I can suggest is something like

which should stick on to the earpiece of the handset with a rubber sucker. They were intended for use on GPO telephones where you couldn't make a direct connection to the line.

Sorry to revive an old post, but does the pairing apply with all bpt agata panels?
