They both have their pros and cons but i've seen a few cracked fibreglass roofs recently after the minus 16 deg temps in December.
Definatly EPDM, Firestone seems to be the pick of the bunch, 50 year life expectancy, single sheet with no joins. Very easy as a DIY job
