New garage roof

Hi,
I need a new garage roof and was wondering whats the best to go for?

I don't want felt as it doesn't last that long, but was looking at fibreglass and epdm rubber?


what garage roof would you reccomend?

Felt should last long enough, plenty of overlap or double cover it, coat it with pea shingle, or you can get the pros in to coat the roof with EPDM which is becoming popular.

Whats wrong with the present flat roof? Is it the surface coverings or the structural joistings underneath that are a cause for concern?

Does the roof have a good fall?

Recovering a flat roof can involve remedial work to the eaves, fascias and gutterings.
