Flexible copper pipe and inserts ?

I need to use a 300mm flexible/bendable 15mm copper pipe (the corrugated type that looks like a coil) but I have read that the copper is only 0.6mm thick and therefore weaker than normal 0.8mm copper.
Would it be okay to use a plastic insert to strengthen it for compression and push-fit at its two ends ?

I wouldn’t have thought it would be needed, they wouldn’t sell it as is unless it has passed minimum criteria.

If your worried about it solder a short length of pipe on with a coupler
