i want to use a push fit / bsp threaded flexible hose to attach a radiator lockshield to a radiator valve tail. is this ok to do. thread to lockshied, push on to valve tail. the valve tail is stainless. do flexible hose work on stainless. :?: someone told me that they don't.

I wouldnt do that as it would look shyte

also I am sure that Flexible TAP connectors cannot stand the temp reached in central heating

but one of the other more cleverer chaps will confirm or call me a puff on this

:)

still would look total and utter shyte

i agree . it will look shyte.
my problem. i have a 600mm towel radiator and my pipes are 750mm apart. as i am not good at soldering what can i use to fill the 75mm gap on either side using push fit or compression joints :?:

you can get chrome bushes to make up the gap. try plumbcentre.

cheers. i live no where near a plumb centre. do you think they would sell them in screwfix.
could i use a length of stainless pipe with a compession fitting either end :?:

seen it done with chrome pipe and nut/olives. screw fix might have them in though.
