Bit of a beginners question, can a flexible waste be connected directly to a branch or should I connect a short length of pipe between the branch and the flexible waste.
I have my old toilet out which I am replacing, the only reason I ask is I wasn't sure if a problem would be caused between the black seal on the branch and the seal on the flexible waste.
