Flexihose to isolation connector?

I haven't done any kind of plumbing before and sadly I couldn't prompt AI to give me something I believed, so this is going to sound stupid:

I have a Pegler PB300T isolation valve fitted to supply, and have a flexihose with a 15mm compression fitting on the supply end (this one i think or something like it). Now in the absence of having loads of copper pipe hanging around, what coupler do I need to get? I thought something like this would be fine, assuming it's long enough for two olive fittings. But the Q&A seems to suggest it's only for soldering?

Ah sorry, the first was just a standard 1/2"x15mm flexihose (s/fix 6768G). The second which i thought might fit but says needs soldering was the flomasta copper end feed equal couplers 15mm (s/fix 71343).

The flexi hose should just screw onto one end of the isolation valve (direction of flow does not matter) and if you want to attach the other end onto the end of a piece of copper pipe then you don't need any sort of coupler just ensure the pipe is clean and bright and tighten it on with the olive that comes in the flexi hose connector. If you need to extend the pipe use an inline straight 15mm compresion fitting https://www.screwfix.com/p/flomasta-brass-compression-equal-couplers-15mm-2-pack/95828

I’ve had success by doing the above, but others warn about going directly onto an isolation valve and would be better with a connecting piece (such as this) or filing the tap connector a little so not sharp. Your links don’t work for me either as they link back to this site but temporarily unavailable.

Thanks both, yes I can't get through the links either it looks like they're sensibly blocked by the site, I've included the product codes though.

I think that's what i'm worried about as the isolation valve has tapered edges. I haven't given the flexihose compression end a good enough look to see if it will connect directly. @Stuckinarut would you mind giving me the description of that connecting piece so that I can look it up? Cheers
