Can Flexy pipes to taps "split" and cause leaks? I have heard of a case where one did and causes a lot of water to go through the ceiling.

Anyone used them before?

thanks seco - so they are not good to use then when re-piping from old pipe to a new sink, bath etc?

Are all makes of flexy's a bit dodgy??? Even if installed straight and not kinked/curled etc??

stick with wras approved ones.
i've seen them fail but never had one of me own fail.
ok to use on bath/basin/sink etc.

are WRAs approved one better quality then? Used them once on low pressure cold/hot water to a basin. Any good for a direct system?

for what extra they cost it's worth it.
and i prefer to cover my ar*se if one did ever go in a customers house.

Thanks for the advice. Have the WRAS ones got extra thick rubber then or something? I am worried now abotu mine!!!!!!! SHould I be??

Any half decent plumber can do away with the need for flexy pipes to connect basins etc... Just requires a little pipe bending skill.
