Hi, I'm new to this forum. My partner has just fitted a flexi hose to the copper pipe for the cold tap on our bath. It has a leak at the bottom of where the hose has been connected to the pipe. The question is can he remove the flexi hose to try and refit it so it is sitting flush or will he have to buy another flexi hose. Sorry if the problem is not clear....neither of us are plumbers.

Thanks in advance

You won't get it off if it is a compression fitting and has been tightened up. Take it apart and put some PTFE tape on the olive, not the threads, and re-tighten.

It's maybe worth the few quid to get a plumber in to do it, saves the possible hundreds in repairs if it lets go.
