And that's how I now feel about easyjet.
It probably depends on the reason for the delay. Is it beyond their control. I would say that a technical issue with the plane is their fault. That is what it will come down to, as far as I can see. There seem to be posters on here with experience to help you do it.

Not in this case but a lot of people get mixed up with the compo for the over 3 hour delay
This isnt based on take off but on wheels on the ground at the destination .
Seen a few couple getting excited at the thought of a few £££ that they are not going to get .
They are now on about increasing it to 4 hours

compensation is based on distances as well 520 is most you get turkey prob around £250

i think you will get it .
Had the opportunity to claim it once with a flight from milan to birmingham cancelled flew us to manchester and bussed us down no real delay or hassle so didnt bother claiming
didnt think it was that far so looks like your in for a few bob
