I have a type of flooring in the bathroom of my apartment. It reminds me very much of that hygenic flooring found in catering kitchens. The kind that has quartz crystals in it.

Anyway i'm looking to have it replaced with exactly the same but in a dary grey colour and I don't know where to start without knowing what it's actually called.

Can anyone help?

There are lots of sheet vinyl's available as you described, it's possible, but less likely that it's a commercial safety floor type product fully bonded to a ply subfloor though.

Most good independent flooring shops will be able to show you samples of both products.
