Hi

My new kitchen floor height is 1cm lower than the living room one. (my mistake)

Kitchen is to be tiled and living to be laminated with 12mm.

There is an opening where they will join.

Is there anything I can do that's not too expensive to rectify?

Was aiming for a levelled floor

How thick are the tiles? 8mm? 10mm?
Do a bed of 10mm cement tile adhesive?

10mm

I thought adhesive should be 5mm. May just do the trick

Plysheet are expensive. Would need 7 to 8 sheets @ 8x4
