Floor Hole with pipes

What is the best thing to do with this - its where the heating pipes go under the floor into the garage where the boiler is located. When i lifted the old tiles there was this hole under.

I was thinking of filling it with gravel and screeding over when i screed the rest of the floor, it will be under kitchen cupboards.

I wouldnt gravel it, there can be sharp bits and the pipes will move slightly.

I'd wrap the pipes and cover them in sand with the screed over that.

I'd leave it if out of sight under a cupboard (and try not to fix the cupboard in too well) - you'll have problems if any of those joints start to leak in the future.
