Floor too thick for sliding door

I think I know my answer but thought I'd run it by some smarter folks than I! I've just had a new floor laid and didn't account for the thickness of the underlay so now with the floor down the sliding door (barely) has room to slide, and definitely can't when the bead goes over to cover the expansion gap.

I've had a little play with the runner screws and they won't raise the height enough (although I can lift the door up in the frame enough to create that gap), not sure if I'm adjusting them properly but I just lifted the door up on some packers then loosened the screw and tightened it back up.

I'm expecting the answer here to be "different floor" or "new door" but I know some witchcraft can be achieved with windows and doors! I've attached a few photos which I hope explains what I mean. Very happy to take some more photos if that's useful. Serves me right for not accounting for the underlay when I was checking this before the floor was down.

You can only lift the door up so much before the door itself becomes unstable as it saddles over the frame.

Option 1 - forget the beading and run a bead of clear or coloured silicone over the gap, doing one half at a time letting one half dry fully before sliding the door to finish the other side........OR

Option 2 - more drastic but using a multi tool resting the blade on an appropriate thickness packer cut the bottom of the door off just the inner side, it'll open up the hollow chamber within the PVC but unless your a spider you won't see it......OR

Option 3 - buy a new door

Option one sadly won't work since the gap is a full expansion gap at 10mm ish, option two I hadn't thought of.

Might be that I do two followed by three as a stop-gap since I'm not a fan of this door anyway (who thought a 450mm opening was reasonable?) but it does mean I can finish the floor and skirting without waiting on a door.
