floorboards + kid . wax, oil or varnish?

Not sure we want to get into this discussion again.
There are some on here who prefer Hardwax Oil, some, like me who prefer "Quality" lacquers (Not the B&Q stuff)
Each choice has pros and cons. Search the forum site and you will find our views.
We would probably all agree that both choices would beat a laminate.

LoL, we would suggest to go for hardwaxoil
