Floorboards - large gaps

save the whole 8 quid it will cost you to replace the timbers (by anychance do you have a dog that ****ed up the 'stored' timber day in day out) and fit them yourselves.

this is constructive advice as all you have to do is measure and cut the peice of timber to fit.

but please remember you must leave atleast 5mm gap from the stud/single/interior wall otherwise if the timber expands to much ( yet timber dunt expand on its length/ie following the line but you never know) then you might accidentley stand on timbers in question and a ton of bricks will fall, along with the roof if there is one.
