Hi, everyone. I had my boiler fitted to my flat recently, and my kithen fitter put the gas cooker extracter fan vent cover next to the bioler flue pipe, which my boiler fitter say is wrong and needs moving, or i need a extension kit for my boiler flue pipe. because he says it must be 300mm aways from the vent cover. But the flue pipe is sticking out the wall and is about 300mm away from the vent cover, Do i still need to put a extension or not? Can someone help me please.

The flue clearances are in the manufacturers installation instructions and should give you the answer.The dimensions usually refer to the distance from the flue terminal as a whole and not just the outlet.
