Does anyone have any experience in trying to flush-mount a Vaillant thermostat control?
I've got a VRT 392f (wireless one) and it's obvious it's designed to be surface mounted... but it sticks out from the wall so much! I can't help thinking it would look neater flush-mounted, with only the front plate exposed on the wall. The challenges as I see them are:-
- The temperature sensor grilles are behind the front plate so would need some kind of exposure.
- The battery compartment can only be accessed by removing the whole thing, including the back plate, from the wall.
Anyone had similar thoughts?
