i prefer x800.
but who ever your paying to fit your new boiler let them lazy bar stewards do it.
then if you have any problems with the boiler later on they can't blame you cause you cleaned the system.
they done the job start to finish.
if they can't be arsed to do that what else are they to idle to do.

Your installer may have agreed to let you clean the system to save some money, but if he didn't bother to tell you what to do and how to do it, he clearly does not have very high work ethics, and his work is likely to show that.
