flux brush

Is any.type of brush ie paint brush etc ok to be used as a flux brush or does it need to be a specific flux brush?

Any brush will do

I use a pastry brush.
Cheap and lasts ages.
Obviously - use delicate application on smaller diams.

As long as the hairs don't come out - because that really will screw up your joint if there's a hair track through the solder

Another reason I use pastry brushes... They don't shed hairs, coz no one wants hairs in their pastry
