try that with your conventional lift truck....its wider than the door you complete drongo, of course it wint fit, why are you trying??????

He's trying it because using a standard forklift, it is possible to get something wide through an opening that's much narrower than the load you are carrying.

the way it moves its very similar to a reach truck, if thats the case why not just have the same system as a reach?

I've never seen a conventional fork truck struggle. Can't see it being paid for as the need isn't there. I bet it only works on very smooth surfaces too.

They should have called it the 'Moonwalker'.

should work on most regular surfaces... it's not air it rides on "as the name sugests.." it's just rollers on the wheels..

being a forklift it shouldnt really be driven on very uneven surfaces anyway, slight ramps allowed, it does say it runs on gravel aswell as smooth surfaces.

Riding on air now that would be something, forklift hovercraft, you could have something there :D imagine forklifting over water like unloading from a boat deck?

you can get hover pads to lift some very heavy weights.. house sections and such..
they work off compressed air though and need a smooth floor..
