For crack stitching is resin or grout better?

Hi, There seems to be some cheap kits around 50quid with resin on eBay, I wondered if that is likely to be ok?

If it's a proper resin then performance wise should be OK. Both resin and grouts are much stronger than the mortar beds they are placed into and form a direct bond to the surrounding brick.

Thanks George, I have since spoken to a specialist who told me that grout will expand slightly as the bars do, but resin won't.
