The Bill would allow TfL to operate a toll on major arterial roads such as the A13, A1 and A40 through the capital. References to the Government preventing the installation of toll equipment that is "incompatible with a national standard" indicate that national road-tolling equipment, and therefore national road pricing, is already a given...
