i have faulty central locking which the doors either lock themselves or if you lock them you cannot open them without fidding with the key in the lock and if you cannot manage to open you have to get in through boot which sets alarm off . what i need to know is there any way i can deactivate the alarm and also deactivate the central locking or get a new central locking kit if so how much will this cost, basicaly it is doing my nut in

i used to have an older escort with these symptoms and it was water entering the door actuators causing the central locking to have a mind of its own

can anyone tell me how to go about getting water out of the actuaters if this is the problem causing the central locking problem .will any garage correct the problem and how much will it cost is there anything i can spray in the locks like wd40 which will help i dont want to spend a fortune repairing it
