Hi,
Quick question from a novice. I've bought an ECU as there is water getting and the passanger foot weld is very damp, to cut a long story short i've been shown that the ECU was affected by this and have bought a new one. Is fitting an ECU just a case of unplugging the old one and replacing or is any programming involved?
Also its been mentioned that it still may not work if the wiring has shorted out, so any ideas if i should just take it to an auto electrician or see if fitting the ECU first may solve the problem?
many thanks.
